Dear Potential New Member
Well hello there! Welcome to Mizzou and to sorority recruitment, an experience within itself! I am so excited for Recruitment week as well as the years to come – you should be too! The women of Kappa Kappa Gamma provide not only four years, but also a lifetime of support and encouragement to one another in ways ranging from friendship to mentoring, from leadership to service and from campus activities to a lifetime of community involvement. Currently, and for many years in the past, Kappas have enjoyed volunteering at one of our local beneficiaries, Cedar Creek Therapeutic Riding Center. We pride ourselves in being one of few Greek chapters who not only provide financial support to our beneficiaries but also volunteer our time and build relationships with them. Kappa Gamma has stood as an example on Mizzou’s campus for over 140 years. We came to the University of Missouri in 1875, making us the first female Greek letter Fraternity on campus. It is our goal as a chapter to welcome women with open arms from the beginning and provide them with skills and a network to last a lifetime. Our open motto is “Aspire to Be,” and we truly aim to live that out every day, together. We are looking forward to meeting each and every one of you!
