Social

We host a handful of date parties each semester with a variety of themes. They are as follows:

Owl-O-Ween
Every year around Halloween, we have a costume date party with the women of Chi Omega. As both of our fraternities share the owl as a symbol, we incorporated owl into the title of the event.

Monmouth
Monmouth is a date party that takes place in the beginning of November every year. It is a two night event with the women of Pi Beta Phi. The social is called Monmouth because both of our chapters were founded at Monmouth College in Illinois. The first night is a hay ride and bonfire at an outdoor venue and the second night is a costume party.

Semi-Formal
Semi Formal happens in early December, right before everyone returns home for Winter Break. In the past, we have had themes such as Masquerade.

1920's Social
Our first social of the spring semester is a 1920's theme, reminiscent of The Great Gatsby. This is a date party where members wear flapper dresses, head pieces and pearls, like they wore during the Roaring Twenties.

Sapphire Ball

Sapphire Ball is our annual formal that happens in late spring. The formal was named Sapphire Ball because Kappa's gem stone is the sapphire.

Kite And Key

Right before the end of the year we hold Kite and Key with the women of Kappa Alpha Theta. The date party, representative of both of our chapter's symbols Kappa's key and Theta's kite has a different theme every year. This year the theme was Kentucky Derby but other themes have included: "Retro Rock Band," "High School," and "America."
